TIME OF THE YEAR: February
When we say “Valentine’s Day”, aside from love and affection, we always think of flowers, chocolates, balloons or romantic dates. Except for a fact that to love and to be loved not just this day but everyday of our lives are more than enough to feel the spirit of Valentines’.
GOOD TIMES AND TAN LINES
MACAMPAO BEACH & LEISURE FARM RESORT is an exclusive farm resort located at Cabangan Zambales that accommodates only a hundred of persons in a day. Perfect place to de-stress and wind down. Very ideal for family, group of friends and couples. This is where we had our Post-Valentine’s date and grabbed the chance to have a breather over the weekend.

Traveling from Bulacan to Zambales is always an enjoyable road trip, one that provides no hassle and stress along the way. As they say: The longer the road, the better the adventure.
Macampao, by the way, is the name of street or sitio located at the end of Barangay Arew where the resort is situated. Road became roughly difficult to passed by which we consider a sign that we’re getting near the resort and upon entering the gate, we felt the glint of great fun-filled day ahead.

SUMMER LOVIN'
Every corner of this place is indeed very dreamy, instagrammable and pleasing. The 300meter beach front fancified with lovely benches, hammocks, inflatable pools for kids and other ornamental stuffs that’ll make each summer days more fantabulous!!

The beach bar is in line with dressed up cabanas and open gazebos with cushions and pillows for those who wants to take a nap or just simply relax and feel the sound of seashells collected and hanged all over the roofs while the breeze just strong enough to erase the lingering heat of the day.

THE POND
There is also this beautiful spot and probably my favourite part of the resort where you can experience boating and fishing. What I really love about it is that they still manage to maintain a beautiful pond like this. With the trees and their leaves falling into the water while different type of fishes are hanging out with us on a gorgeous day. Peacefully calm and quiet like the ones we only sees on the pictures.

Reminds me of my favourite love story/movie written by Nicholas Spark-The Notebook. Such a romantic place, indeed. *Noah and Alli, all the feels!!

This leisure farm resort, aside from their nice cozy place and welcoming staffs, also serves great tasting menus in a very satisfying amount. They also serve their locally grown fruits, fresh fruit shakes and unlimited brewed coffee. Freshly picked flowers are blooming all over the place as well.

There are lots of activities you can choose from if you are the type of person who would rather to have more fun day at the beach than to chill and relax.
Kayaking is one of my favourite water activity because it improves your upper body strength and also lets you have a “me time” moment specially when you stop in the middle of somewhere, leaving your paddle on your lap, doin’ nothing just feel the waves pushing your kayak and staring at the lovely sea facing the sun while it kisses your skin. *Oh, Summer!!

One of the highlight of our day is to have experienced Horseback riding by the beach! I always love the idea of riding a horse in a most scenic moment. God creatures are just so wonderful! It’ll always leave you with an open mouth.

Other activities includes: Frisbee, beach volley, badminton, fruit picking, billiards and sungka. There is no time to be boring in a beautiful place like this.

Make sure to wait for the sunset, like everyone’s favourite. The perfect time to touch the sands, play with your friends, have a refreshing swim*not to burn your skin that bad.

This paradise is definitely included in my most recommended list. To make you feel home very far from your own takes one place to be very welcoming. When sometimes all you need is an atmosphere like this to remind us that we need to pause for awhile, reward yourself and pamper your soul.
A great summer vibes, relaxing feeling and fun-filled day, it has been.

If Valentine’s days/dates are always like this, makes us feel the memories from a time when life seemed more carefree, I’d love it for the rest of my life. Finding it more romantic than candle lit dinner, bouquets and chocolates.
