In Antipolo Arts featured gallery Pinto Rizal

Lovely Pinto Art Museum

I had a date with one of my friend who happens to be my sister in this profession. She suggested a girly bonding in an art gallery which both of us never experienced before (though I had one in Art in island with my boyfiend, JV,  on our 7th Anniversary but not the literal art gallery like this one ). And since this is the first time in two years to have finally reunited with this girl who I used to call "Babe", we make sure that this will be a day filled with instagram worthy photos which we enjoy each other's company the most. 😁

ON MY WAY TO ANTIPOLO, RIZAL.

11th of September, Sunday, left home at almost Six; I had a smooth travel from Bulacan and as per Tito Boy, it's way easier to hit the road going to Fairview and from there  I reached Antipolo, Rizal in less than two hours. Visiting Antipolo has been one of our family's weekend routine ever since I was a child because Mommy and Daddy are devotees of Antipolo Church, another reason is that one of the farms my Daddy used to work with before is located here  and it's good to see places we've been before like Padis Point Antipolo (my first Padis experience) and Cloud 9 and I was seriously shocked to see those places because of the fact that I reached those points driving alone, it's makes me feel proud as well. 😌

In a heartbeat, I'm down to San Roque where I supposed to hunt for  the street going to the Subdivision where this gallery is located. I have to pay Php20.00 entrance fee upon entering Grand Heights Subdivision. Parked in front of Pinto Art Museum at almost Quarter to Nine. The museum still closed. I had to rest my eyes from two hour drive and to calm myself in excitement and amaze of how far I went through from traveling North and now approaching South. 😱

It's Nine Thirty when she arrived. Just in time for gallery's opening. We're both happy to see each other after like forever!! 👯 What a funny coincidence that we both wore white shoes! It's like a good vibe to start our adventure as gallery goers.

We paid Php200.00 each for the entrance fee of unlimited stay in the museum. It looks crowded in the beginning but the place is so big to lose space. We first invade the upper garden gallery. We were welcomed by huge paintings inside Gallery 1 but we decided to skip this one because there's a group of students inside and we wasting no time. 😏

GALLERY INVADING 101

Creepy Gallery 2

Gallery 2

The Gallery 2 is way bigger and painting gets deeper. There is a random arrangement of arts in every room. Hopping on the 3rd Gallery, there's our fave work of art "Oblivious" which means lacking remembrance and memory. We didn't get the chance to read each painting's meaning but you'll feel what the artist wants you to feel just by looking at it.

Gallery 4 is my favorite. It's more on humanity and architecture stories. 5th gallery is simpler. It's a plane long open room with spacious paintings on the wall telling stories of filipinos.

On the both sides of Gallery 5, there's a hallway which has a smaller room: The one has this two love birds with a great open ceiling for the light of sun rays and the other room requires to keep the door close for the rated PG artworks.

Black and yellow and white

Gallery 6 was Jhaneah's favorite, she's been waiting for this moment to enter this one because she has already planned the pose for this area. Isn't she so funny and cute! Oh, babe!😅  In the hallway to exit this gallery, there's a room that requires to turn off cellular phone but since we're not good at following instructions when our curiosity raised, we simply didn't. Haha! 😂😂 And it's a nice living stones inside which we thought numerous but just an illusion of mirrors. Very peaceful and calm.

Will always be green lover

With lack of consciousness, we didn't noticed that we've already invaded upper and lower garden galleries. We approached the other side of the place, a very lovely structure of Pinto Art Academy. I realized this place is a Greece-like spot.

We went upstairs to have our lunch in Cafe Dionysus located at the view deck of this building. We had Smoked Salmon with cute tiny grapes and a very refreshing Lychee and Tamarind fruit shakes, perfect for the afternoon heat. Since we've been focusing on picture taking earlier, this is the perfect time we had for chatting. So many things and stories we've shared. From the good career that we have right now which we owe from our mothers; love of our lives; travels and adventures; and even struggles in our own personal life. We will always be thankful for this kind of life as well as with twitter who keeps us both updated to each other. 😜

CAFE DIONYSUS

We stayed for almost One and a half hour but there's still lots of things to talk about, hence we decided to have a walk after a heavy lunch.

In this moment, we get the chance to comeback in the first gallery. The one with huge paintings. This gallery shows more of being a filipino, our cultures, traditions and kindness. And believe me, they expressed it way better than the other.

Camouflaging goes candid

Twinnnnnning!

In the upper garden, there's a pool and a very strong attraction it has which makes us want to jump into the water. Lol. 🏊🏼

In front of this is downstairs going to Indigenous Museum which highlighted our culture as well and it has the paintings of the National Artist Whang-od and my dream to be inked by Apo one day stay still. 💪🏼💉😱

Apo Whang-Od on my back

The heat of afternoon intensifies and we can't afford to have another walk, it's really a bit exhausting because of the separated galleries with multiple stairs everywhere. We decided to relax in a moment. We chose the table of Pinto Cafe that is located in the garden to have an iced coffee partnered with a slice of truffle. And by means of relax, it's another chat time.

We can't believe we still have stories to share to each other. We didn't notice the time and it's almost four. Rest time is more than over and we're ready for another long travel way home. Before we left this province, we went to the Church to buy delicacies and pasalubong for our Moms. Suman and Cashew nuts were taken home. Jhaneah dropped off right after we stepped out Antipolo because we both have no idea where to find her way to MRT stations that's why she opted to get a taxi instead. The fast ride that I had in the morning was an opposite going back. I have encountered traffic in Fairview and in San Jose del Monte, nevertheless, I reached home safely at Seven. Tired, exhausted and in need of a good sleep. Just dropped by in our clinic to give mommy my pasalubong and went straight home to have a satisfactory rest.

It was indeed a great day and there's a lot of reason to be blissful! I got to meet my friend after two years! Was my first time to drive heading South. Pinto Art Museum have such great art works everyone will surely be interested with.  And it is You, up there, who I will always be thankful of having. I know You listen when I kept on saying "Please help me; Don't leave me; Keep me safe" during my total of Five hours of travel. You're the best back ride I've ever have. ☝🏼️

Pinto Art Gallery was a great experience. I can describe it as a place where an ordinary people will have reasons to love arts. It's not just about how they painted it but the deep meaning behind every paintings and artworks; on how you perceives each details; on how you get attached on it's patterns; and most especially, on how they fed your creative imaginations by expressing theirs. Words might be very powerful but I see to it that a statement made by an artist using his/her artworks has distinctive effect to an individual. It is easy to imagine a picture from a specific phrase but it is never easy to construct a story from a specific draft consisting abstract colors, lines etc. It lets your eyes sees, your mind works and your heart feels. Isn't it very magical? That in a moment of silence at a time that you just simply stare at an artwork, you suddenly have an invisible connection with the artist. You understand and you get affected on how happy, sad and angry she/he was while making this work of art.

Art work for me is designed to make a change in someone's perception in life. All of us is an artwork. We're destined to change someone or something in this world. A simple smile on our faces can change one person's mood. So be an artwork in your own beautiful creative way. Don't let other artworks transform you into a trash, unlikable, scary one. And don't ever be an empty, indescribable artwork that has no purpose in life because every artist won't create an Obra Maestra that has no meaning at all. God, the greatest artist above all artists, designed you to do something very sensible in this world. Each of us is very unique and one of a kind sculpture. So keep your beauty variant. Let the world see and appreciate your loveliness the way they're supposed to understand. Because at the end of the day, no matter how radiant our artistic characteristics, we must remember that we all made by the same Artist. Instead of insulting the constructions of other artworks, let's put each other up to see the beauty on us. The way our Artist wants us to be. Lesson learned from this experience is none other than appreciate things in all forms because you'll never know that the weirdest creation has the deepest meaning.

How lovely your weekend was? Mine's not just lovely, it's delightful. Keep on wandering, traveling, discovering. Keep on journeying. Love, Rochel.
