LIFE IN BLOOM

Too many things to do during summer season. There goes the very popular beach bumming, sun bathing and endless night parties! But have you ever thought of doing these activities during rainy days? Definitely not! And that is one of many reasons why most of us, rather most of you, hate wet seasons. I have been a lover of rain after I graduated from college. Too funny, but yes! I really hate rainy days way back from the days I used to wear white uniforms. But now that it’s finally over, I even considered myself as “pluviophile”. I also love summer! But every time I hear raindrops falling on the rooftop, there is something that is very relaxing. A perfect moment to listen to your fave songs, read books or even just stay inside your room sipping a cup of good coffee. Aside from these stuffs we can all do during bed weather, let’s not limit ourselves from doing activities on a rainy day.

It’s September and obviously a gloomy month. It’s also Daddy’s birthday! I was looking for a perfect place to indulge ourselves with a real quick relaxing vacay and I have found this tropical rain forest paradise that is so perfect for our current needs!

A TROPICAL RAIN FOREST PARADISE

This so called Hidden Valley Springs, 2hours away from Bulacan and situated in the secluded part of Laguna provided us an absolute getaway. Quite a breather from our busy lives.

SODA POOLS

From the main gate, we had to walk in the middle of jungle for about 20minutes to reach springs area. It has five natural springs: Two soda pools, two hot springs and a lover’s pool. We had our first refreshing dip in Soda pools. Waters are very clear, its floors are made out of tiny stones with such gorgeous view of trees embracing the springs. It just feels so good and so right to swim in a fresh flowing water and to sniff fresh airs.
Oh, this is life!

TREKKING

If you’re looking for a pinch of adventure. You can do 1KM trek to reach the hidden falls.

LOVER'S POOL

We just stepped in on a lover’s pool to have rewarding swim after trekking. A private pool that is very far from the other pools and that is why I think it is called “lover’s pool” lol.

BUFFET LUNCH AND SNACKS

Package for day tour also includes buffet lunch and snack of filipino foods. We’re off to the dining area to grab our lunch. They serve great foods as well. While we’re having our lunch, it suddenly rains. Good thing they have coffee in the buffet. Lol.

HOT SPRINGS

It is so freezing cold! Just in time for some hot bathed. We hit the other road approaching their main pools, hot springs. Running water from two mountains: Mt. Makiling and Mt. Banahaw. I’ve been dreaming for summer days while I can have these pleasurable rainy days vacay.

Waters are so warm. There’s a little falls at the end of it. We were surrounded by smoky haze which makes it more fine and relaxing to the point that we don’t have to swim or to even move because placing ourselves in just one place with good sound of flowing water from a nature spring is one simple way to loosen up.

It was such a great day to unwind. There’s so many places in this world that remains hidden and for some reason those places are known to be one of the best places, too!

Let’s have an often visit to the places where we really meant to be, natures.
Let’s be with the people who we really want to be with, our family.
